Members of the Michigan farm marketing & agri-tourism industry face many unique challenges. Through working together many of these challenges can be addressed! The Michigan Farm Marketing & Agri-Tourism Association is a new organization designed to help industry members solve problems and create opportunities. Areas of interest identified by industry members include:

Working on regulatory issues such as zoning and inspections.
Creating promotional programs to encourage consumers to visit Michigan farm marketing and agri-tourism destinations.
Offering membership benefits.
Developing and encouraging educational programs.

Purposes of Organization*

To advance Michigan agriculture by promoting the interests of owners and operators of Michigan farm markets and agri-tourism endeavors.
To encourage a profitable and sustainable farm marketing and agri-tourism industry in Michigan.
To represent the interests of Michigan farm markets and Michigan agri-tourism businesses in matters of state or national concern.
To cooperate and coordinate efforts with other organizations in achieving these purposes.
