How long have you been involved in farm marketing and/or agri-tourism?

I have operated a farm market for 35 years.

What crops, attractions, services, or other offerings do you sell to consumers visiting your location?

We sell blueberries, raspberries, currents, gooseberries.

What is the most satisfying thing about being in the farm marketing and agri-tourism business?

Meeting and educating customers on fresh produce.

Why do you think others should get involved with the new Michigan Farm Marketing & Agri-Tourism Association?

Agriculture is a major part of Michigan economy and we need to promote our own business. The organization can help us all to continue in agriculture through marketing of fresh Michigan produce and meats, and other products.

Any other things you would want people to know about you, your operation or your involvement in this organization?

I grew up on a dairy farm and my wife and her family were produce farmers for over fifty years. We both live no farther then four miles from were we grew up. Me: four miles east; and my wife: four miles west.
